Migronis — Scaling Organic Search Across International Markets

Migronis is an international investment-migration agency that helps clients obtain second citizenship and residency permits through investment.

I joined the project when organic traffic had stagnated and the website had technical SEO issues, weakly optimized investment-program landing pages, and no content strategy.

I developed and managed the SEO strategy across Russian- and English-language markets, combining website structure improvements, content development, technical SEO, link building, and coordination with the development team.

By the end of my engagement, the website reached 50,000+ monthly organic clicks.

Challenge: Restarting Organic Growth

When I joined the project, the WordPress website had reached a period of slow organic traffic stagnation. The main issues were:

  • technical SEO errors;
  • weak on-page optimization of investment-program landing pages;
  • no content strategy;
  • an outdated blog focused mainly on news, with limited organic traffic potential;
  • insufficient website structure for covering broader investment-related search demand.

The goal was to rebuild the SEO foundation and create a scalable system for growing both commercial landing pages and informational content.

My Role

I worked as the SEO Specialist responsible for:

  • defining SEO strategy and priorities;
  • coordinating the web development contractors, including technical SEO tasks and website redesign;
  • working closely with the editor and copywriting team on the content plan;
  • developing and implementing the link-building strategy;
  • monitoring organic channel performance and adjusting the strategy.

My role combined SEO strategy, technical coordination, content planning, and implementation control. I was also fully responsible for the website’s technical health, including site availability.

SEO Approach

01

Expanded the website structure

I reorganized the site around citizenship and residency programs, added new investment-program landing pages, and built topic clusters for priority programs to cover broader search demand.

02

Built a scalable content strategy

Together with the content team, I maintained an ongoing content production process for both Russian and English versions of the site. Each month, we researched new topics, built the content plan, and executed it across guides, rankings, investment-related articles, news, and case studies. The Russian version published up to 20 materials per month, and the English version up to 10.

03

Strengthened authority and technical stability

I developed and implemented a diversified link-building strategy using guest posts, PR placements, UGC, and directories. At the same time, I coordinated technical improvements and a full website redesign while keeping the temporary traffic decline during the redesign to approximately 10–15%.

Results

By the end of my engagement, the website reached 50,000+ monthly organic clicks, up from approximately 2,000 monthly clicks at the start of the project.

Organic performance continued to grow after my engagement ended. In January 2023, the website reached 121,000 organic clicks.

Outcome

The project moved from stagnant organic performance to sustained growth across both commercial landing pages and informational content.

By the end of my engagement, the website had a strong technical foundation, an optimized structure, and an established ongoing content process. Organic traffic continued to grow after the project ended.
